What are allergens that must be declared?

Perfumes and fragrances sometimes contain substances (natural or synthetic) that can cause reactions in sensitive individuals, such as skin irritation, itching, or respiratory problems. The European Union has designated 24 of these fragrances as allergens requiring declaration —including limonene, linalool, citral, eugenol, geraniol, and coumarin.

From certain concentrations onwards, these substances must be listed on the packaging (according to EU Directive 1223/2009).

Safe use of The Sqent™ Capsule

A carefully chosen fragrance experience begins with responsible use. To enjoy your capsule optimally and safely, we recommend the following:

✅ For environmental use only
The Sqent™ Capsules are designed to subtly diffuse fragrance throughout a room—through wood, fabrics, or air. They are not intended for direct skin contact or to directly saturate clothing, furniture, or bedding.

✅ Always hang upright or place stably
Make sure the capsule is hung or placed securely to prevent the fragrance oil from tipping or spilling. Use a hook, drawer, shelf, or decorative holder. Avoid surfaces that are prone to oil or stains.

✅ Choose a well-ventilated place, preferably out of the sun
Use the capsule at room temperature, away from heat sources (such as radiators or direct sunlight). Heat can accelerate the fragrance intensity and cause the product to evaporate unnecessarily quickly.

✅ Keep away from children and pets
Although our fragrance formulas are carefully crafted, it's important to keep capsules out of reach of curious hands or paws. We recommend hanging them at a height, especially in areas like nurseries or living rooms.

✅ Pay attention to the size of the room
In smaller spaces (such as a drawer or linen closet), a brief saturation of the wooden stopper is sufficient. In larger or open spaces, the scent will be more subtle and evaporate more quickly—depending on ventilation, temperature, and airflow.
